The 7 Days Budget Uganda Safari Adventure is a phenomenal way of exploring Uganda’s top tourist sites such as Kibale Forest National Park for a chance to track the chimpanzees and undertake a nature walk through the Bigodi wetland sanctuary, the beautiful Queen Elizabeth National Park for game viewing and the refreshing Boat cruise and finally move to the south-western side of the country where we trek the mountain gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Upon setting your feet on the beautiful Ugandan soil at Entebbe International Airport, Allied car safari`s driver/guide welcomes you into the magical country and offer a briefing before transferring to the Capital City of Uganda (Kampala).
Check-in at the pre-booked hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park.
Have breakfast from the Hotel and meet with the Driver/ a for journey to Kibale Forest National Park which is the primate capital of the World where we track the chimpanzees (mankind’s closest relatives).
This exciting journey involves enjoying the jaw-dropping views of the lush tea plantations of Toro, Mubende Rocks and stopovers for the mysterious Nakayima tree and for lunch in fort Portal Town.
Continue to the Lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Chimpanzee tracking and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Have breakfast and get trekking gear ready then converge at Kanyanchu Visitor center for briefing. Start the walk slowly and increase the pace but after one hour to 3 hours, you be alerted of the chimpanzees’ presence by the ranger, spend one hour with these interesting primates before returning to the Lodge for lunch.
After lunch and short rest, check-out of the Lodge and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Game drive and boat cruise.
Arise, refresh and shine to the sweet melodies of the wilderness, have breakfast and head for an early morning game drive where you get introduced to the sights of the African wildlife including Uganda Kobs, Lions, leopards, buffaloes, Topes, elephants and warthogs among others.
The activities also involve exploring some of the Crater Lakes in the Park and bird species that call Queen Elizabeth National Park home. Head back to the Lodge for lunch.
The afternoon boat cruise awaits you and will be conducted along the Kazinga Channel where you be introduced to yet another surprising wildlife sight at the banks of the Channel where the Nile crocodiles and Hippos are seen relaxing as well as the aquatic birds especially the African fish eagles and pelicans among others.
Retreat to the Loge to relax, dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for gorilla trekking.
Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to achieve your dream of encountering the endangered mountain gorillas. Have breakfast and check-out of the Lodge and start the exciting journey that reward you with the awe-inspiring views of the Kigezi highlands. Have lunch and arrive at Bwindi in the evening.
Overnight at the lodge.
Day 6: Gorilla trekking.
After breakfast, get your trekking gear ready for the exhilarating gorilla trek. Move to the Briefing point where you meet the fellow trekkers for a briefing on the guidelines of the activity. Later, be driven to the trailhead where you trek in the company of 7 other trekkers, armed rangers, guides, and porters. After, you be ushered to the allocated gorilla family going around with their daily activities.
Spend an hour interacting with them and return to the Lodge for lunch and refresh.
If you are not too exhausted, continue for an optional evening walk but if you feel exhausted, you may choose to relax at the Lodge.
Day 7: Transfer to Kampala
Enjoy the breakfast as you prepare for the flight according to your schedule, you may have for last minute shopping or relaxation as you depart from the PEARL OF AFRICA. thank you!
