Here`s a chance to trek through lush forests; stand metres away from a family of Mountain Gorillas – deep in the heart of Central Africa – and enjoy the stunning views of such interesting animals? This 4-day adventure works great as a standalone trip, or as part of a wide itinerary.
Day 1: Entebbe
International flight into Entebbe Airport. Upon landing, meet the allied car safari driver and transfer to the hotel lodge for relaxation and overnight.
Day 2: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After morning breakfast, transfer to western Uganda in Mutanda Lake Resort on the shores of Lake Mutanda.
In the afternoon, relax and prepare for the big day, head out on some community visitings around the lodge, take to canoe or kayak and explore the stunning landscapes of Lake Mutanda if not tired.
Overnight at the lodge.
Day 3: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
The adventure begins! Wake up early for a heavy breakfast (energy needed).
After a pre-tracking briefing and a well appropriate safety precautions on the ecology and history of the gorillas head out by road to the trail-head for the start of your adventure!
The trek begins. Expect to walks in steep and sometimes muddy conditions, with showers often appearing. When contact is made with the gorillas, spend one hour with lovely gorilla family. Watch them feed, move, play, wrestle and more.
Return by the forest to the vehicle then lodge for an overnight and relaxation.
Day 4: Return to Entebbe
Transfer back by road to Kisoro for the scheduled light aircraft flight to Entebbe International Airport. Activities dependent on your international flight arrival time SO YOU MMAY SPENT THE LAST MINUTES SHOPPING OR WALKING AROUND THE AIRPORT.THANK YOU!
