Day 1 Kigali Genocide Memorial.
he Kigali genocide memorial center is a memorial to the victims of the 1994 genocide, where more than 250,000 bodies were buried in mass graves. it also has the excellent exhibition that explains, how it was before, during and after the genocide. You will visit the museum as well. overnight stay at mountain gorilla view lodge, Kigali.
Day 2 volcanoes national park.
you will visit this park for Golden monkeys also known as the old-world monkeys, known for their yellow patches all over their bodies and separated from other primates by their nostrils pointing to the sides. this will take us to our lunch before we cross to Nkuringo, western Uganda. overnight at gorilla closeup lodge.
Day 3: Gorilla tracking-Bwindi.
you will expect to see mountain gorillas, spend time with them and perhaps take pictures. this activity can take you up to 06 hours. the walk to the gorillas is an amazing experience. overnight stay at gorilla closeup lodge.
Day 4: Queen Elizabeth National park.
the road trip through Ishasha sector brings you close to the tree climbing lions. continue for hotel check in and late lunch. go for the Salt Lake tour in the evening. drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Pumba safari cottages.
Day 5: Queen Elizabeth National park.
wake up with snarks and go for the early morning game drive. expect big cats like lions, leopards, hyenas and large mammals like elephants, buffaloes, hippos, antelopes and so much more. drive back to the lodge for breakfast and lunch. we shall go for a boat ride on kazinga channel that connects lake Edward to George. a variety of bird species, crocodiles, and other large mammals may be sighted. drive back to the hotel for dinner and overnight at Pumba safari cottages.
Day 6: Transfer to Kibale forest national park.
after breakfast you will drive to kibale forest national park. the drive takes 3hrs approaching by lunch time. check in and lunch at turaco tree tops. you will go for a swamp walk Bigodi wetland and sanctuary, expect over 8 primate species like the L’Hoest monkey, the grey-cheeked mangabey, red colobus and others. over 200 bird species have been recorded in this sanctuary. drive back to the hotel for dinner overnight at turaco tree tops.
Day 7: Kibale forest National Park.
after breakfast you will drive to the visitor’s center for briefing to for chimpanzee tracking experience. this activity takes 3-4 hours depending where the chimps had slept and the terrain. spend time with our closest sisters in the wild, and take pictures. drive back to the hotel for lunch and refreshments. you will drive to Semuliki national park for a hot spring walk. arriving late evening, dinner and overnight at turaco tree tops.
Day 8: Drive to Murchison Falls National Park.
after breakfast drive to Murchison falls national park. have lunch in masindi town. proceed, arriving in the evening. check in, dinner and overnight at Fort Murchison lodge.
Day 9 Murchison Falls National Park.
wake up early morning at 0600hrs with snacks and for a game drive, expect lions, buffaloes, hyenas, leopards, elephants, antelopes and many more. return to the lodge for breakfast, lunch and refreshments. go about cruise in the afternoon on the world`s longest river to the bottom of the world`s most powerful waterfalls. expect yawning hippos, crocodiles, and many water bird species. drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Fort Murchison lodge.
Day 10 Transfer to Entebbe International Airport.
After breakfast, drive to Entebbe, enroute Ziwa rhino sanctuary. visit the sanctuary and perhaps take pictures, and have lunch. continue to the airport\ hotel. Farewell to our Clients.
